Supplies should be purchased a week before class begins. Please have your skeins of yarn wound prior to class. We can do this for you at the shop. CLASS POLICY: We request that class materials be purchased from Calla Lily Yarn & Gifts with a 10% discount applied to materials. As space is limited, full payment is required to reserve your place. SKILL LEVELS & HOMEWORK: When signing up for a class, please note the skill level required and if there is homework noted. Cost: $15 Per half hour Private lessons: $30.00 per hour. (All Non-class related patterns) SKILL LEVELS FOR CLASS SIGN UPS: BEGINNER: Knit - wants to learn how to cast on and bind off, knit and purl, increase and decrease. ITERMEDIATE: Wants to know a variety of stitches, how to use double points, knit in the round, and know mid-level shaping. ADVANCED: knows lace stitches and intricate stitch patterns, fair isle, and how to short row. Fall and Winter Classes Here We Come! Supplies are not included with the price of the class. A supply list will be provided at the shop when you sign up for the class. Please purchase your supplies a few days before class begins. A 10% discount is applied to all class supplies.

A Year in Scarves: Advanced Beginners Cost $40.00 per scarf class. Knit One Crochet Two presents "A Year in Scarves" Come join in on the fun. We will do one scarf each month. Jump in on the ones you would like to make and skip the ones that don't intrest you. You will learn many techniques while making these beautiful scarves. Dates: Starting September 11 until the following year each Saturday we will have class. We expect each class will take 4 weeks to complete. Times: 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM Instructor: Donna
One Sock on two Circulars: Advanced beginners Cost: $50.00 If you're not a fan of double-pointed needles or simply don't have the right needles on hand for a sock project you might be planning, it's also possible and pretty easy to knit socks on two circulars. Once you have this mastered you will be able to knit many things on two circulars. Dates: Thursdays, September 9th, 16th, 23nd, & 30th Thursdays, October 14th, 21st 28th November 4th Times: 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM Dates: Thursday, November 18th, December 2nd, 9th, 16th Times: 6:00 PM to 8PM Instructor: Joey Fair Isle Scarf: Advanced Beginner Cost $40.00 Learn the basics of Fair Isle Knitting and have ample opportunity to practice them on this simple but warm scarf knitted in the round like true Fair Isle. Change colors as many or as few times as you like to make an attractive scarf to wear all winter. Dates: Tuesdays, September 7th, 14th & 21st Times: 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM Instructor: Stefani Reversible Knit One Below Scarf: Advanced Beginner Cost: $40.00 Learn a new technique which will allow you to use exciting colors in an unusual way! You will want to make more than one scarf once you become familiar with this technique. Dates: Tuesdays, September 7th, 14th & 21st Times: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Instructor: Stefani Entrelac Scarf or Hat: Intermediate knitters Cost: $40.00 This class is for the knitter who is interested in learning the techniques of Entrelac Knitting. We will be creating a warm scarf or hat for the winter months as a beginning project. This scarf or hat is so beautiful, you will want to make it in many colors just to watch teh color changes: just like the fall leaves! Dates: Tuesdays, September 28th October 5th and 12th Times: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Intructor: Stefani Seams and Joins for Professional Looking Knitting: Intermediate knitters Cost: $40.00 This class will focus on learning a variety of seaming techniques and choosing the right one to make a nearly seamless looking garment. You will learn the precise location to insert the sewing needle to make your garment look as though it was knitted in one piece. Additional finishing tips will also be provided. Homework required before each session. Dates: Thursdays, September, 16th 23rd & 30th Thursdays, October 7th, 14th & 21st. Times: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Instructor: Stefani Center Cable Top Down Pullover: Advanced Beginner Cost: $50.00 Learn to make a one piece sweater from the neck down. This sweater is worked in the round on circular needles. A good fit is achieved because you can try on your garment as you go and make changes as required by your own specific body type. Dates: Tuesdays, November 30th December 7th, 14th & 21st Times: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Instructor: Stefani Aran Squares: Cost is $40.00 Nancy and Kelly will be continuing on with the Aran Squares since so many of you have decided to do a 12 block lap robe and some, the entire 20 block afghan. We always welcome anyone new to join in on the fun as well! Don't hesitate to join in now, or just do a block or two....each is a wonderfully different learning experience and can make into a beautiful pillow. Class 5. Found on Pages 36 - 37 The fish. One of the 5 most challenging squares.....you can do it! This design has everthing - cables, bobbles, multiple charts. Dates: Wednesday July 14, 21 & August 4th Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Class 6. Found on Pages 46 -47 The Tree of Life. Unique calbes taken from a wedding invitation: sure to be one of your favorites! Dates: Wednesday August 11, 25 & September 1st. Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Class 7. Found on Pages 2-3 Kisses & Hugs, Spider & Bugs. This is a sweet block that works up so nicely. You work from several charts and change up chart placement, so it is truly a learning experience. Dates: Wednesday, September 15, 22 and October 6th Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Class 8. Found on Pages 6-7 The Tumbling Paperclips. This block has mutiple, whimsical cable charts that just turn into a beautiful square. Dates: Wednesday, October 13, 20, and November 3rd. Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Class 9. Found on Pages 32-33 The DNA Helix. This block features cables that look like DNA and then several smaller repeating charts that have you increasing and decreasing to produce a beautiful pattern. Dates:Wednesday, December 8, 15 and January 5th Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Class 10. Found on Pages 34-35 Pomegranates. Again.....beautiful cables and an iteresting repeat in the center that the designer said was inspired by the contrast between the smooth exteriors and the seedy, bumpy interiors of pomegranates. Dates: Wednesday January 19, 26, & February 9th Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Remaining squares left to be worked in the series (as voted on by our students) Pg. 10-11 One of the 5 most challenging, but so beautiful....we know you'll be ready and willing! Pg. 18-19 The Children. Done on circular needles ....woo hoo Pg. 24-25 The Celtic Knot. Again one of 5 most challenging, but wow! This Square is so impressive: what an accomplishment this one will be! Pg. 38-39 The Bobbledy Square. Back by Popular demand.....bobbles! How excited are you all to make this bobbulful, bobbled square...and lots of cables. Pg. 48-49 The Latvian Moon Cross. I am so looking forward to this one!
